It's implied that she's proud that she lived through cancer, but instead it gives feelings of guilt because I've not gone through cancer troubles. That's not the real reason for this post. I have lived all over the USA and for 25 years it has been true. Whenever it rains in your part of the country, the radio stations will start playing sad, depressing music. Listen for it, it'll piss you off. Wonder why you're in a pissy mood when you didn't wake up that way? Check the weather. You're programmed to feel that way every time it rains or is cloudy.
