Why are you interested in having people block subverses? The only ones I blocked are those that have nudity and porn. I don't like being provoked into doing something because a few people can't get along with the grown-ups. I want to know what's going on.

Forum-sliding does not work when the shitposts are submitted to other subverses. That is why they also spam inside the subverses of your interest. Unfortunately mods are not very active in removing spams, which could make every subverse into a shitpost subverse. So blocking subverses works to a good extent. But we would still need to deal with localized spamming.
I think inacive mods need to be purged. There are also suckpuppet accounts on the modlist, with the purpose of controlling the ownership of the subverses. I have seen accounts, absent for 2 years or so, and then suddenly showed up to vacuum out the the content of subverses. In one instance, @kevdude's comments were left alone. I suspect he might be involved or the mod might have avoided removal notification.
