We know that Eve's analysis is correct because God doesn't 'wait' or even ask for an explanation of the situation but immediately curses the serpent. The words are barely out of her mouth when the Judgment is given. God doesn't even respond to Adam's accusation, he just blows it off since he is trying to teach a lesson about accurate judgment.
Ok so that being said, I can honestly see it in the exact opposite as well where Jesus is Satan and Eve is 'good'. It won't 'settle down' in front of me when I am observing it because the story itself is missing key components and is incomplete. It is almost like it is a living creature that is squirming around in front of me and I am trying to give you a description of what its 'side' looks like while it is writing around. I could start to describe the side but by the time I got to describe what I would be looking instead at the face and would have to start all over again. I can't really tell you its character because it is more like a kaleidoscope than something static that one could stare into as a static object. Such is all 'life' on this planet.

I have had this same thought. However, it doesn't explain why we are here. It only explains why THEY are here. I find your explanation totally believable, but I am left baffled by what it has to do with me/us. Have you ever been to the doctor's office and been sitting down for glasses. They have all these little lenses and they flip the little lenses back and forth over your eyes asking "which is better? A or B? Cor D?" Well that is a lot like I see all this...for one instant I can see it 'this way'; the next 'that way'...and so on, flipping back and forth. The Truth won't settle down in front of me because the story is constructed in a way that makes it impossible to compose any sort of 'truth' out of it. It is like it keeps being framed and re-framed continuously at a million mph.
