Ya know, I tried that whole "paying for" thing. Then voat stopped taking payments. Not saying it was by choice. Transparency is all some of us are asking for. The canary is dead and @puttitout is nowhere to be found lately. It's concerning. Some people aren't good at expressing their concern but something is obviously wrong here.
Putt has taken long breaks from the platform a few times before, especially after chaotic periods.
Voat didn't stop taking payments, it was shoa'd by all payment processors. Then Putt didn't feel right taking money for a while because the waves were rocking the boat pretty hard & he didn't know if we'd still be here today, so he took down the bitcoin address. Then the angel arrived.
Besides, you never "paid for" Voat, you donated to something you believe in or enjoy to encourage it.
Pay a friend to open the PO box, rotate PO boxes and locations.
I don't have all the answers ... but all I'm saying is where there's a will, there's a way -- We know trying to get big tech to cooperate isn't happening, so until they're put in their place ... shit, I didn't hear a better suggestion from you.

How about a PO box or three ... and good old paper envelopes, stamps, and the mail!?
Fuck payment processors, and until fiat dies the death it deserves, physical cash is still king of anonymous payment methods.
