The easiest way to detect a Fed poster performing distraction/disinfo - they controversialize the source of information, rather than having to confront the information itself. (whatever)

Attacking the messenger is just intended to waste time. Don't fall for it. Argue the information, not the people involved.

The source matters a lot of the time though. Example: if the information is "Trump paid hookers to piss on a bed Obama slept in" then obviously the first question anyone should be asking is "lolwut who told you that?"
