Kat, I am personally disappointed on your behavior but I applaud you for recognizing that what you did was wrong. I hope you do well and hope you find what you are looking for in life.

Just a few advises:

• While I understand that your intent of helping your friends is one of your priorities, I would advise you to gain wisdom on what type of "help" you are giving. As a friend for example, I am quite honest, so I would give my honest opinion and not promote behavior that I know is wrong. As a friend you should have done the same with u/zyklon_b. You shouldn't have entered his game.

• Know who your friends truly are. If a "friend" of yours asks for your help to do something wrong, he is not being your friend. He is using you at convenience of what he wants to accomplish. A true friend would know that he/she wouldn't drag his/her friends into the mud of his/her wrong doings.

If this is your good bye letter, then in that regard, I wish you farewell and hope you are OK in the future. It takes courage to apologize for the things one recons to have done wrong. Because it takes courage to suck up the embarrassment, the guilt and the fear of doing so. Whether your apologies are or not well received, you did what you needed to do.

Let no guilt pursue you further because of your past actions. Move on, and keep moving forward.

Props to you Kat. You've gained a great deal of respect from me for fessing up. Doxing is bad. All it ever leads to is more doxing. At this point I think it's plain to everyone. No amount of doxing should be acceptable on Voat. If someone has a problem they should settle it with the person they have a problem with. This whole thing with 'teams' forming and fighting other 'teams' is ridiculous. I have friends on both sides. It never should have gotten this far. It's not too late for people to admit they went too far. You've gained a good amount of respect from me at least. It'd be nice for everyone to agree that things escalated well beyond the level that they should have.
