Preface: Gen X here. So don't give me crap about being a butthurt boomer.
PLEASE! Learn some history.
I grow weary of the constant boomer bashing. In point of fact they were born post WW II. That is what "The Baby Boom" was all about - millions of men that thought they were going to die and suddenly found out they were instead a super power.
No. The traitors that made all this possible are Generations 6 and 7. THEY are the people that VOTED IN:
-
The Federal Reserve and fiat money - the evil that made all other evils possible.
-
The Income Tax. Which opened the private finances of Every American to government inspection and looting. The Income Tax was sold to the people out of pure vindictive envy. No one even pretended it was for a good cause. It was openly sold as a way to punish the 5% of the population for the fact they had the most money. It was never supposed to apply to anyone else. It was specifically sold so one American could hurt another American for the sin of being successful. From the standpoint of "original sin" we deserve what we have gotten vis a vi income tax.
-
Gave women the right to vote. If The Fed was the suicide weapon letting women vote pulled the trigger. Government would no longer be constrained by what was possible. Government could do anything that crossed the fancy of the voters
-
Reelected Woodrow Wilson. A traitor and communist that had already done #1 & 2 above. But he also single handedly forced the US into WW I. All combatants were broke (gold standard again) and exhausted from their utterly pointless war. The 120,000 pointless US deaths sealed the vindictive Treaty of Versailles. Which absolutely ensured WW II -- where many millions more would die.
-
They voted in Prohibition. This was the first time the US Government became the OFFICIAL Enemies of the American people. Today most people view the government with at best unease and suspicion. But that wasn't the case before prohibition. STORM TROOPERS that were more or less indistinguishable from the soon to rise up NAZI Brown Shirts cruised the country engaging in murder and mayhem.
-
Prohibition also brought organized crime to America. There was never an organized crime problem before because the government had never before used such Militaristic tactics against the citizenry. Well not since the civil war at least....
-
After Wilson they voted in Herbert Hoover. A man that got his start as the "Food Czar" during WW I, he knew a thing or two about how to oppress a free people. The time bomb of "The Great Depression" also detonated on his watch.
-
The Great Depression was "Great" because the second most evil man to ever head the Executive Branch of government was Franklin D Roosevelt. This MONSTER fancied himself the reincarnation of Napoleon. Not since Lincoln had the US seen such dramatic departures from the rule of law. From threatening the Supreme Court to confiscating the people's gold this was what it looks like with the Satan worshippers get their own Messiah come to earth. His wicked rein would continue through FOUR elections. Only death finally removed him. Who kept putting this demon back in the white house GENERATION 6 & 7.
-
But the depression was just the opening act. FDR wanted into WW II. But a people that had living memory of WW I were not so eager to spread their children's blood across the globe again. FDR spent years shipping supplies to England against international law. But he was evil -- NOT stupid. He spent nearly a decade setting up the Japanese. Japan was our WW I ally. "Japanese Manifest Destiny" was drummed into them for years. And when they finally started to conquer East Asia FDR was right there. Right there to put a trade embargo on them while US fighter planes dueled with them in the skies over China. Japan was set up to do something rash. And they did not disappoint. Their attack on Perl Harbor allowed FDR and Generation 6 & 7 to absolutely DRENCH the planet in American blood.
And the rest is history,
Did the boomers rally for the destruction of society? Absolutely! But remember they grew up in broken homes. Divorce and unwed mothers weren't the norm then. But during WW II women went to work and abandoned their families. This became the new normal. Boomers never had a stable home in which to grow up. They were raised by the new Hypno Gourd (Television). And of course lots and lots of people that were equal parts powerful and evil from Gen 6 were eager to feed them amoral behavior; who doesn't love Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll.
Obviously this isn't the nation the founding fathers hoped for. But it is pretty much the one Thomas Jefferson expected us to have. They gave us the best tools they could. Boomers didn't flush it down the toilet of history. They were in fact the very first ones caught in the suction.
