Okay, first off, fuck republicans and democrats: U.S. politics has been a opioid public circus (well, always, but definitely) since G. H. W. Bush. Second, fuck reddit: I haven't been able to stand more than 2 minutes on that faggot site since 2015. Third, fuck /r/The_Donald: they're fucking cancer and blindly support a politician.
But what the FUCK, Google and Reddit?!?! I read a post just now,
Reddit has omitted The_Donald from search results as has Google. That coupled with Ellen Pao's recent comment that T_D should be banned has got the 'Pedes thinking that they'll all have to mass emigrate soon.
and thought, "great, here come the retards." Then I remembered all of the fuss about the last presidential election we had when it came out that ("it came out that" sounds so sinister) Russia had spent some $100,000 - $300,000 (?) on Facebook adds which had swayed public opinion. Russia had meddled in our free, democratic elections!!! AAAHHHHH!!! Never mind that they'd taken out some pro-Christian adds, some BLM adds, some conservative adds, and whatnot. The tears and the heartache and the FEAR put forth by the media was that Russia was sinking their claws into our lives and were trying to sway public opinion.
Okay. Let's grant that for just a second. Let's say that Russia indeed DID "sway" public opinion with these adds. Let's -- just for the sake of argument -- say that they also had thousands of "bots" and "agents" in public forums whose purpose was to paint one candidate in a bad light and another in a good one, thus "swaying" public opinion. I think we can all agree that such a thing is pretty shitty, and the level-headed of us will realize that we do that kind of shit (and MUCH worse) in other nations. I wouldn't go so far as to say that these actions "undermine" our elections, but the MSM and the faggots on twitter sure do! Remember the outrage? The pain? The indignant, angry reactions!
So now, we have a social media giant (Reddit) and the information gatekeepers (Google) actually preventing people from accessing opinions. To be clear, the sin of "the Russians" was that they manipulated public opinion by throwing out some extra opinions during an election season. Reddit and Google are now manipulating public opinion by silencing the opinions they don't like. The latter seems to be FAR more sinister.
But when I see what the faggots on twitter and elsewhere have to say, it's something along the lines of, "stop crying, conservative bigots! It's not censorship when a private company does it, it's what you get for being bigots!" What pisses me off is the fucking hypocrisy. This is a clear case of meddling in a free, and democratic election by means of silencing public opinion, but they have no outrage about it because it happens to silence opinions they don't like.
I say this more and more, but I can't think of anything more fitting at the moment: honk honk.

It's only censorship if it fits the US constitutional definition. Anywhere else that speech is suppressed it's actually two pronged unicorns playing the flugelhorn, not censorship.
This is what the censorious fuckwits want us to believe, so that we can be censored by private agencies.

You know, I know that the world works on these shifty, pilpulesque, self-serving, movable definitions, but I still get so pissed off when I see it.
(What's pilpul, you say? Here and here, in case you didn't know.)
