I'd actually encourage more to be /all/new blockers. It's a lot more fun then just focusing on one thread.

Thread is progressing as expected. The OP wants to fundamentally change the site.
We'll see. Definitely something to keep on eye on. Their idea of cleaning up /v/all/new may differ from yours or mine.
