r/GreatAwakening alone had 70k subscribers and who knows how many lurkers. Can voat handle the influx of users?

Most won't stay. But that's pretty sizable even in part.

I'll stick around, some of you goats are pretty cool.

It's good you've decided after 1.7 years. You wouldn't want waste a bunch of time in some place you're uncertain about.

Honestly I used to participate more earlier this year. But I needed a break from Voat culture, it was starting to wear on me. Guess I have little options at this point though.

It can get pretty wearing. Its unrelenting in here. There's always the rest of the net for when you don't need to talk Voat stuff.

Even on Voat there are some relaxed small subs too, like /v/justgrowit, /v/history, /v/Linux, /v/programming, /v/welding, /v/DIY, /v/fitness, /v/books

The only problem is they get relatively few posts. But the quality of discussion is good and beats reddit because there are less faggy comments and the comments are more honest.
