You guys know the Voat drill when Reddit bans something:

Single file lines!

Voat is too broke to get real servers so we must take turns. We must act civilized and share in an orderly fashion or else it just ends up looking like a Black Friday nightmare around here and no one wants that.

So pick your time slot and stick to it, no cheating. Everyone has a 30 second window to Voat. Go.

Sorry about the downtime and slow responses, it's the best we have in Free Speechland at the moment.

Serious question from a serious donor (who has backing from lurkers/other donors on our side) - what would a helpful donation amount be via BTC?

Truth is hard to come by these days... throwing money into one of the few remaining bastions of free speech is the least we can do.

I've been running Voat on a shoestring budget for 3 years now so we stretch every dollar as far as we can.

Is this a trick question? Every bit helps. ;)

We would have closed down a long time ago without awesome people donating, so it has saved Voat, but I hate treading water and not having the resources to become 'yuge'

Voat really needs a financial backer so we can build out and be a real company, a real competitor, and a real threat.
