It redirects the blame from the target to the desired group - semites, wherein the user can again easily use its anti-Semitic smear. Finally, it keeps real and pertinent information from reaching the surface by bogging it down and diluting it to levels that make it sound comical or entirely absurd- ad nauseum, ad absurdum.
