So I was hashing it out, looking into stuff myself and noticed something that I've not seen anyone talk about.
Putt said he was going to get on a regular schedule to post updates.

I will get on a regular schedule after this month by posting a GOAT statement on the 1st (or closest business day after) starting next month.
That was 11 months ago.
To me thats more fishy than anything else. I don't know or understand anything bitcoin. I don't care about what people say about his "tone" on a certain day. I don't even really care that he doesn't fix bugs too often. But saying you're going to do something (something this simple) and then just not doing it rubs me the wrong way.

I want to give Putt the benefice of the doubt here. We all have lives outside Voat. I believe there should be people helping Putt with Voat at least in case of emergencies. Why not appoint certain admins with a specific tasks such as updating the canary. One less thing for Putt to worry about.

You'll find that he's in every one of these types of threads that all the same other 2.8 year old accounts appear him.

You will notice that everywhere. A bunch of redditors with old accounts come here. Just look at their comment history and see how many pages back you can go before it throws an error. (Use the URL bar in batches of 5 or 10 to be quick).
Most of these old accounts have shit all in the way of posting. And/or big gaps between posting periods.
