That was 11 months ago.
To me thats more fishy than anything else. I don't know or understand anything bitcoin. I don't care about what people say about his "tone" on a certain day. I don't even really care that he doesn't fix bugs too often. But saying you're going to do something (something this simple) and then just not doing it rubs me the wrong way.

Problem is I don't have the time manage Voat as a business. I'd think that just keeping it up and running (mostly) would satisfy users but people always want more from me.
It's like people think I have nothing but Voat in my life and I'm just flat out neglecting it.
I can't do enough to satisfy this community.
Plus I'm burned out big time. I'd invite anyone to put the amount of hours I've put into Voat over more than THREE YEARS, not ever getting paid for a single one, writing a massive ground breaking framework to give the community a new voice (BY MYSELF), only to be met with an onslaught of criticism and anger and then to treat Voat as a priority.
It's not a conspiracy. It's rather simple.

We are worried about you... The criticism and anger comes mostly from fear that we have already lost you and Voat. There is nothing else like Voat that exists. We need you a lot more than you need us.
I said this recently, but you should br extremely proud of what you have built here. You are actually DOING something to fight back against the evils in this world who want to divide us. Please just remember that we're only human, and some people are only here to tear you down.

What you are seeing SChalice, is a group of accounts that were all created about 2.8 years ago that follow each other around and agree on everything, so it's either a single person with lots of accounts or a group. I'm not sure what their agenda is, but they are always involved in threads that have to do with the state of Voat.
He's one of the group of accounts all aged at 2.8 years that think as a single unit. VicariousJambi, TheKobold, MadWorld, digitalalen1497, PeaceSeeker, MinorLeakage and on and on. If you check other threads they post in, you'll see that they post as a group and never disagree with each other.

Well the we vs you in writing is meant to avoid creating the impression in the reader that the writer is accusing them of whatever statement they are making in a negative statement or including them in a positive statement. It's English 101.
