So I was hashing it out, looking into stuff myself and noticed something that I've not seen anyone talk about.
Putt said he was going to get on a regular schedule to post updates.

I will get on a regular schedule after this month by posting a GOAT statement on the 1st (or closest business day after) starting next month.
That was 11 months ago.
To me thats more fishy than anything else. I don't know or understand anything bitcoin. I don't care about what people say about his "tone" on a certain day. I don't even really care that he doesn't fix bugs too often. But saying you're going to do something (something this simple) and then just not doing it rubs me the wrong way.
Edit: Putts comment on this thread

Putt puttering out on goals for this website isn’t a new trend.
Sub transfer requests, user counters being broken, ect. Remember when he rolled out voat polls? The voat votes thing, he didn’t follow up at all. He didn’t even answer any questions in the thread he posted about it. It was dead on arrival.
I’m not one of these people saying we should hang putt, or mutiny or something. He is a good guy. He has done great leading this site, since Atko stepped down. But he is doing a worss job now. He just isn’t active ve enough.
It’s his site and ultimately his decision. Voat isn’t a democracy. We need him to devote more time to this, maybe we can entice him by offering payment for what he does. If not that, then maybe it’s time for him to enter into his godfather years with atko.

I have paid in the past and I'm willing to pay more to keep Voat active. Maybe some fraction of Voat can be managed by his most trusted. To me it seems the most logical way to help out.
