So I was hashing it out, looking into stuff myself and noticed something that I've not seen anyone talk about.

Putt said he was going to get on a regular schedule to post updates.

I will get on a regular schedule after this month by posting a GOAT statement on the 1st (or closest business day after) starting next month.

That was 11 months ago.

To me thats more fishy than anything else. I don't know or understand anything bitcoin. I don't care about what people say about his "tone" on a certain day. I don't even really care that he doesn't fix bugs too often. But saying you're going to do something (something this simple) and then just not doing it rubs me the wrong way.

I really just wish that he'd give us updates on this whole fiasco. Whether it's a general overview of what happened, or what he's currently up to... Just tell us something, y'know?

Apparently he's "too busy" to take 5 minutes and type up a short paragraph about why voat crashed and why he disappeared for weeks.

oh and subverse transfers? yeah never. oh and donations and ads?? how about chat? nope, just a magic port that never happens, and a dev that won't grow the team, become transparent again, etc.

That's a common bug when people try to delete their account. I heard someone have the same problem the other day, and how someone else said how common the bug is.

FWIW, Putt's latest announcement is at least somewhat reassuring for me.
