It may be putt has set up automatic payments for the various infrastructure. In which case we should last a while longer
The down time however is a definate symptom of a bigger problem, whilst we can only sit and wait for contact, there is a very real possibility we would loose everything (preview and live).
Contingency needs to be considered and organised in advance if the worst happens.

@PuttItOut, would you consider giving @PeaceSeeker, or any other goats you trust, your contact information, so that he/they are able to get in touch with you in case Voat goes down again? This way issues might possibly get fixed earlier, and it would also reduce the panic among goats.
