Is this the spark that ignites the New American Civil War?

Very fucking likely.

If I am a US representative, I'd be shitting my pants right about now, knowing full well that if we attack the 2nd amendment then egregiously attack the 1st, that tens of thousands of patriotic Americans will hunt me down and kill me for treasonous offenses against the Constitution.

If those patriotic Americans quit funding psychopaths by quitting their jobs, cutting of the tax flow to the psychopaths, and working directly with their local communities and Nature to meet their needs, government wouldn't be needed and would fade away like a herpes outbreak. They could start p2p meshnets to enable communication outside of the DARPAnet!

This sounds unlikely to happen. For a simple example, it's been known for a few years that people like bread and circuses a little bit more than an entire lifetime fueled by never-ending active violent anger.

This study is just one of many examples. Having lived a subsistence life myself, my experiences definitely agree.

Please share more about your subsistence life.

Your concept of precivilization life is no longer backed up by science. People that prefer bread and circuses over a lifestyle that's interconnected in a positive way with their communities and Nature are subhuman and need to be eliminated from the gene pool.

Please share what a positive interconnected lifestyle looks like. That one X-Files episode with spider-bots protecting a trailer full of servers? Something else? Paint us pictures.

Besides The Borg from Star Trek, what are your negative examples? Paint us pictures.

Who gets to say who is subhuman? What are the criteria? Who decides on that criteria? Is there a vote on that criteria?
