This bill is being voted on in the House which will be the death of our beloved Voat, we cannot allow this to happen, WRITE, EMAIL and CALL your Congressman!!!

If this law passes all (((they))) have to do to shut down ANY site is to False Flag sex trafficking and the Feds will move on the site's owners; namely our beloved @puttitout. This must be stopped at all costs!

I kind of hope that is passes so it might start a decentralized forum and imageboard arms race that will create sites can't be (((shut down))). It might be a little too optimistic of me to think it will though.

That will be our fall-back position if we are forced into it but it is hard to reach hearts and minds from inside of a deep dark well. I know what you are saying and I hope that all fre thinkers take this lesson to heart and build a free web but losing this battle will cut off our access to the general population.

Fight this first and then lets start creating a backup plan.
