This bill is being voted on in the House which will be the death of our beloved Voat, we cannot allow this to happen, WRITE, EMAIL and CALL your Congressman!!!

If this law passes all (((they))) have to do to shut down ANY site is to False Flag sex trafficking and the Feds will move on the site's owners; namely our beloved @puttitout. This must be stopped at all costs!

Voat does not allow child porn nor does it allow posts that push sex trafficking. I don't see this as an issue as long as random posts by pedo assholes are reported and removed ASAP.

It will all depend on the enforcement of the law. If you are a paranoid bastard like I am then sites which cause certain people problems will get shut down for a single CP image even if it was removed a minute later and sites that certain people like will not be shut down for an entire catalog of under-age smut.

But never fear, the blind lady Justice will be even handed. The scales are balanced and in our system there are no favorites. /s
