Not that relevant to the point being made but I hate how employment statistics start from age 16. Being that almost all 16 year olds are in school and living with their parents, they have an excuse. It kind of skews the average compared to if they started at like 18.

I was employed at 14. And in the army at 17. I lived with my parents and went to school the whole time.

I moved out shortly before my 18th birthday.

16 year olds used to work.

I'm not saying they don't. But it's not the norm so for statistical purposes, they shouldnt be included
