Not that relevant to the point being made but I hate how employment statistics start from age 16. Being that almost all 16 year olds are in school and living with their parents, they have an excuse. It kind of skews the average compared to if they started at like 18.

I worked since age 12.. on weekends though at the flea market. At 16, my parents helped (made) me get a job landscaping under the table. I haven't been unemployed except for maybe a month or two between jobs. What I'm trying to say here, is my folks instilled work ethic into my psyche at a young age, and didn't let me have an excuse. This carried on well into my 30's. It was my parents that gave me my strong work ethic, who also carried it.
