To be honest I can take Sane's ramblings. As long as he doesn't mass downvote people (which he had in the past) could we not manipulate ccp?

Plus the second you get the ccp up spikes solved his fate is sealed. We'll all downvote him till he disappears.

I'm curious as to what you mean by support system? The accounts he used to generate upvoats to keep the spamming accounts above the negative ccp threshold?

Yeah, he likely had some ones that weren't so obvious in name that wouldn't have been taken out in the first wave.

Since SCP doesn't matter as much as CCP in this context, is it worth considering making both downvotes and upvotes for comments(CCP) invalid after 7 days days and leaving the Submissions(SCP) as hey are currently? That way users could still upvote threads to the 3 month window but not comments. I haven't fully thought this through so there might be some holes in this.
