nope haven't read that. i have such grey views on the world that i can damn near justify anything. what is good in one context is bad in another and vise versa. nothing is universally bad or good except for words that have context added into them (and even then bad things can lead to good outcomes and vice versa). i got into philosophy for a bit, and than learned enough views of morality that at the deepest levels everything becomes opinions. in a way i am an amoralist, i don't believe in morality the way that most people do. everything is subjective, the only way values can exist is through the opinions of thinking entities, therefore all morality is inherently subject to the minds of cognitive creatures.

i agree that evolution selects for morality of sorts, at least the morality of group animals. i know that r/K selection is an outdated method, but if humans evolved for maximizing genetic reproduction we would be r selectors and not K selectors, so we don't really do that. sexual selection has been the dominant factor of human evolution for a long time now. besides i don't even want children so none of that really matters to me.

edit: had to make a link out of the particular letter combination that is linked because it apparently auto made a link to reddit and that was not what i was trying to do. forgive the wiki link, i am sure you are already familiar.
