I for one support this decision to go to 8ch. I have read both /v/GreatAwakening and /v/theawakening, and it seems voat is not a good fit... it would just be a constant fight over freedom of speech, but Q isn't primarily about that.

Ok, but admit at least this - why the mods and people like me would want to keep the GA forum here on voat, after such verbal attacks like this one? That doesn't make sense. The mods simply made a mistake by assuming that voat is something like reddit, while it is not. They want to create a moderated forum, while voat is against that. Ok, so they need to move elsewhere. It looks like you guys a bit offended that those mods don't want to play by your rules, but why should they?
