I for one support this decision to go to 8ch. I have read both /v/GreatAwakening and /v/theawakening, and it seems voat is not a good fit... it would just be a constant fight over freedom of speech, but Q isn't primarily about that.

The mods simply made a mistake by assuming that voat is something like reddit, while it is not. They want to create a moderated forum, while voat is against that. Ok, so they need to move elsewhere.
