Your mods ,in their Infinite Wisdom, put in place a Subverse specific voating restriction.
On Voat, you are allowed to alter a user created sub's voating rules, but it does 2 things.
It removes the Sub from v/all. No one on the site can see this sub or your posts unless we are physically in it.
Basically, you went private.
Because your sub is basically private, none of the CCP you earn here counts towards your actual CCP. You all have zero CCP, because you haven't learned it in a sub that is public.
The reason why the site owner did this is to protect us from vote farming. You know what you guys have attempted to do. Hide in a private sub an upvote each other to circumvent the site restrictions.
On Voat you have to earn your points and you have to do it honestly. It is not above board, if the entire site is not able to vote up and down in response to your comment.
That is why your sub's 5 ccp to downvoat requirement has disqualified you from earning CCP that would have allowed you to participate on the rest of the site.
Don't take it personally. While we don't actually want to chase off potentially good users, we do have to work hard to discourage shills and people who simply don't share our site's free speech mission.
Just seems counter-intuitive to everything this movement is trying to accomplish. Rather than try and be welcoming and help out the newcomers they're all up in arms treating us like we're military-aged middle eastern men invading their pure European cites with intent to rape their women.
I get the whole "they're our servers, from our donations" angle, but do they not understand that if we have more users here some of them will donate too? I genuinely don't understand the hostility if we all have the same common goal.
I hope it works out well for all of us. We're all on the same side. The cabal must be fucking loving the results of the reddit bans right now and that makes me sick.
