I was in a bind. Started a gofundme. Gofundme went kinda viral. Got ALOT more donations than what I asked for. Couple months later I had a job. Used a portion of the gofundme money to buy a rifle. Because I used the money for something other than food this asshat has non stop harassed me. Made claims that I was never a veteran and that I have defrauded my donors. I provided overwhelming proof that I am indeed a military veteran so now he focuses on how he thinks I should pay back the gofundme donors. Which is impossible. even if I could which donors get paid back? Because I used a large portion of the money for what it was donated for. Food rent utilities etc. There are laws against online harassment and I have reported him at FBI.gov and emailed the voat admin informing him that a possible lawsuit will come of this. Voat may be required to provide his IP address if a court order says they have to.
Please remind us the reasoning behind it. Never mind I'll do it.
You didn't shut it down when it hit the $500 goal, instead you clasped your hands as it kept growing because "poor unemployed vet" that saw no action and has zero proof it's actually true. (The pix you did provide never compared your face to the ID)

You never considered paying back the donors because you say it's impossible then defend using it on non necessities.

For those who gave you free money, it's rather irrelevant if you spent it on food or toys. They freely gave you the money, and you spent it, even if your claims of "need" were false. No way. The only reason I would ever consider using gofundme again would be if I were in dire need. Legal expenses are not dire. Besides I doubt that there is any real legal action I could take against an anonymous username on the internet anyway.

Thanks, I can tell by his demeanor he has legit ZERO experience with the legal system. No lawyer would take this nor would he pay the $500 to draft the paperwork. He doesn't know the meaning of subpoena.
They might take his money, but there's no way it's going to court. No way he'd afford that anyway after paying restitution to an ever growing list of donors he still has after claiming he shut it down. He lied about being unable to feed himself as he was never unemployed, he even owns his own business.
