I said "work", not "employment". I'm already fucked. My industry is already overrun with imports of low skill, for low wages. I'm turning my entire yard into garden, by May next year, my family will be 80% fed from our own land. I'm taking a break from earning money, as it is not worth my effort to go compete with all these "underprivileged minorities".
And whom do you think would last longer in such a situation: someone who's had it a bit rough but kept on going, or someone whose boss made sure he had blue jello in the cafeteria, 24/7?
I see those in the former, above, moving more toward self-reliance and traditional family structure. Good luck getting the latter faggots anywhere near that shit.
You're thinking too small. When no one is making enough to feed themselves because we're competing against robots that work for the price of electricity, it'll be a shooting war. Sure, the jello lovers won't survive, but quite a few of the rough and tumble types won't either.
Wages are already so low that families aren't having kids because they're too expensive. The genocide has already started and if it doesn't speed up it will stay silent.
