I mean it is a video interview. This isn't just text or audio. It probably isn't a robot with Julian's face stretched over it hooked up to a voice control module to impersonate him so, ya I'm taking this as proof of life.

Possible but the message directly contradicts the white house's narrative, hard to see the motivation.

Yea, like I said i don't think it is the case but it could be.

And I guess the reason why they would do it is because assange isn't going to randomly come out and say he supports Obama.

So, they have to make assange say something realistic, so the people don't question whether he is alive or not, and stop looking into it.

But, like I said I don't believe that is the case here, but it would be a hypothetical.
