Owners Chef-Robert Egger In the 1980's Robert Egger managed nightclubs around D.C. Great place to meet people. Eggers is a spanish chef, nonprofit leader/author/activist. He founded the DC Central Kitchen, they collect leftover food, and uses it for a job training program & provide meals to service agencies. With the AARP's million-dollar grant, as well as in partnership with St. Vincent Meals on Wheels, Egger is launching L.A. Kitchen. Withsuch gross photos in the gallery (below) I looked hard into Eggers activities overseas, in the rural improvished areas but i found nothing, just nothing.....

Egger has been named an Oprah Angel, a Point of Light, a REAL Food Innovator , 41st most powerful person in Washington. ( why is a chef so powerful, famous i get it but powerful ?? Remember Alfantis was powerful too. ).

Eggers' signature restaurants 1. D. C. Minibar ----------hip dining. Some unusual photos in his gallary. One pic has is a pencil sketch of a house with a brown hill -- powder--- as the lawn-- idk for a front yard with three little pink pigs made out of something............Not an appetizing photo for a restaurant.

something is definetly wrong with this man. The photos I linked to are not restaurant professional. Just creepy. If those pics were supposed to entice me, they made me barf.

The NGO has organized meals in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Zambia, Peru, Cuba, Uganda,and in Cambodia. Chef-led missions are creating a model for local responses to catastrophes and changing how disaster aid is delivered. After seeing the restaurant gallery above, I feel like him going to these areas is like satan having ascess to innocents. Eggers had access to rural improvished,children. His photos from the resturants are so sick .

Chef José Andrés provides solutions to alleviate hunger. It was Andres who brought the small plates dining concept to America. He was accused of being a "self promoter" , while working in Peurto Rico, lacking in the delivery of a good meal in a castrophic situtaion despite all that money he was given by the federal gov. Chef Andre opened a Coffee Roasting Project in Nicaragua building a facility to bring new jobs and more income to communities in the country. Andres was named culinary ambassador to the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves. Zambia. Andre was voted a most powerful person in washington.......why ?
