https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/2390929/11903943 <----- in this link you have two mods arguing over whether it should be deleted or not. In that case it should absolutely be allowed to be reposted as long as the user agrees to make it more clear, which it seems like they admitted it could be. If there's any doubt about it breaking a rule, let the users decide.

Vindicator posting afterwards doesn't make M_F's already having deleted it wrong, so it's not like he could take it back. Or am I missing something?

I think I might agree if the user simply reposted what was there after the fact.

Before I say something I'm not 100% sure on, but might have to defend, what's your take on the submission?

Disappointed ago

I'm not saying it was wrong and it shouldn't matter. What should matter is it seems there is enough contention around the post being suitable or not, that the users should decide. It's their sub. If the rules don't cover it 100 percent, let the votes decide. Even if you personally think rules cover it, let it go as a test then adjust the rules according to how the userbase reacted. A good mod or owner should have a grasp on the evolving community.

what's your take on the submission?

I have no take on it at all. I have no clue what is relevant or not and no interest in following the lives and times of pedos that I don't think will be caught. Hopefully I'm wrong and their future includes flames

All right, I'll be a bit more specific. Feel free to not answer here, too, but I put some work into this, so if you're not opposed, I'd appreciate it.

Rule 3 has a line:

EACH link in your post must include a description of content and how the link relates to the post

This is what I put together. Nothing fancy, nothing in-depth. No need to know anything at all about PG or these esoteric points. It's meme-tier digestible.

I think your particular gifts were valuable in saving the pizzagate sub when it first arrived on Voat. I'll be honest and say maybe you need to step away from something you don't really enjoy doing anymore. Just put the crown down and walk away. @kevdude was able to do that and I think he made the right choice. I don't think think anyone should be in charge of a sub for too long. No matter what you do, you get a sense of ownership and can lose perspective very easily. Last year I modded 8 subs including two system subs as janitor. Now I mod one only and I'm weighing that up also.

If I must: On face value what you did in the image seems reasonable but on the other hand so do some of the other points raised in this thread.

My role was always to be a disinterested party that dealt with removing rogue mods and offering rule changes. As far as enjoying it, I probably never did, but I felt it was the right thing to do to try and help.

If the users want me gone, I'll leave. If they are OK with how things are going, I'll continue as I have. It's not fun, but I find the position necessary, and the fruits of my frustration and efforts to be worthwhile.

Just put the crown down and walk away.

Bad analogy, that one. The purpose of it was to express how I wasn't sure that I could do the same for the Q refugees.

I'm open to being shown a loss of perspective on my part. It could be my mind playing tricks, but I don't see any change in my behaviour or position. Maybe I'm better at dissecting bullshit?

You didn't have to, but thank you.

can lose perspective very easily.

That's a general statement, I don't know if you have or haven't

Which on do you think is correct? 'anymore' or 'any more'

Crensch ago

Pretty sure it's "anymore".

Disappointed ago

Would you hate me if I used "any more"?

Crensch ago

I don't think so. I'd have to see it organically in order to tell for sure, but I'm less of a Grammar Nazi about this kind of thing since so many spaced or hyphenated words have become single words in the not too distant past.

You know I can be a bit of a troll, right? Sometimes I'm a bit too subtle and others like a brick between the eyes but it's all good. Anyway good luck with the Rules thread, you've done well there.

I have the unfortunate ability to continue walking directly into an open troll maw.

Thanks for the kudos on the rules thread. Helps to know that someone I trust finds it acceptable.
