That is a valid concern. Aether doesn't host images or videos or stuff like that. It only hosts text, it is like an index. You can enable the client to view images linked by text on the blockchain, but you don't have to do that. People use blockchains all the time, like Bitcoin's or Ethereum's. You can set how much resources you want to allocate to it for storage etc.
