Just got my Kindergarten daughter's school photos. They were super cute as expected but also came with 2 complimentary "SmileSafe" photo I.D. cards with instructions on how to contact 911 to report my missing child courtesy of LifeTouch Studios and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. There's even a bar code and an account number. What the Hell is this??? A shopping list of non missing 5 year olds??? I'm really upset and I'm on hold for an hour with the photo studio. I'm going to demand they remove her from all affiliated databases. Head's up, moms and dads...this isn't right.

Homeschool if you find this an intrusion. And if you trust google you're an idiot.

I'm going to fight this, and no I don't trust Google hence the "/s". Can't afford to homeschool, wish I could.

Your library, school district and local co-op can provide you with everything you need, especially at that age. Most homeschool parents work full time FWIW. Other homeschoolers are very supportive and helpful, if it comes to childcare. You would be surprised.

well,if you have to work to pay bills it's not really an option.

As I said, most who do it also work full time. Ir may not be the easiest, but it's doable. The actual schooling takes about w hrs a day, and can be dine at your convenience or on your schedule. And homeschoolers are always happy to help each other out.
