Just got my Kindergarten daughter's school photos. They were super cute as expected but also came with 2 complimentary "SmileSafe" photo I.D. cards with instructions on how to contact 911 to report my missing child courtesy of LifeTouch Studios and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. There's even a bar code and an account number. What the Hell is this??? A shopping list of non missing 5 year olds??? I'm really upset and I'm on hold for an hour with the photo studio. I'm going to demand they remove her from all affiliated databases. Head's up, moms and dads...this isn't right.

Homeschool if you find this an intrusion. And if you trust google you're an idiot.

I'm going to fight this, and no I don't trust Google hence the "/s". Can't afford to homeschool, wish I could.

Your library, school district and local co-op can provide you with everything you need, especially at that age. Most homeschool parents work full time FWIW. Other homeschoolers are very supportive and helpful, if it comes to childcare. You would be surprised.

well,if you have to work to pay bills it's not really an option.

As I said, most who do it also work full time. Ir may not be the easiest, but it's doable. The actual schooling takes about w hrs a day, and can be dine at your convenience or on your schedule. And homeschoolers are always happy to help each other out.

Homeschooling doesn't cost a lot of money. If you need help I can find you tons of resources. However, if you are a single parent and or refuse/can not cut expenses back further I understand. I can even help you find work at home employment if you are a single parent. Most people don't care enough to look outside the box to fix things, they just butt heads with a brick wall.

Probably wasting your time..."I can't afford it" doesn't really mean that, it means I don't care enough to get.it.done. This person would rather fuck around on voat and on hold

Thanks, I could use some advice. I don't want to abandon my daughter to these demons but I really need a job; things are beyond tight. Still waiting for my callback from LifeTouch studios.

These guys can tell you anything you want to know about home schooling legally in your state. We were members for 5 years just until I smoothed out the process.
Here are 300 work at home jobs and some pay up to 18 dollars an hour. I have seen higher, but you need a college degree for those.
These guys have an email with the newest work at home jobs everyday. Some are very good...and some not so good.
HomeschoolA2Z is an early site I used and it still has some good info.
A free Christian Education that I have used for my youngest two children without paying a dime since we have a kindle with tons of free books.
Free workbooks made by a homeschooling mom just like me. She has more kids though, I think 10? I had six.
With all of these resources you can find a work at home job and educate your child for free or nearly free. I don't even budget homeschooling expenses anymore. The kids never need school clothes, no picture expenses, and certainly no "fitting in" problems. Plus they love hanging with mom and I can ensure they get an hour outdoors everyday.

Imagine if you quit wasting your fucking time and got your shit together, maybe you could "afford" to home school. Make sure you come up with a better fucking excuse for when your kid is older and transitioning or whatever.
