I remember walking with my family in New York City when I was about 14. I was lagging behind my family a bit when this ethnic woman got way to close next to me and asked if I was traveling alone. Before I could answer my mom saw what was going on and said “she’s with us,” which made the woman disappear. Really strange experience, but it stuck with me. NYC is not a safe place, especially for young girls. Many creepy songs try to lore them in. In fact, Taylor Swift wrote a song about New York that feels like brainwashing propaganda targeted at young women who are trying to find themselves. Sad, but important to let your daughters know before (((they))) get to them. I’m thankful my family was with me, or who knows if I would have ended up on the list of this guy’s victims.
