Only ONE customer said he actually saw him as he walked past the ping pong tables through the back curtains and INTO THE AREA OF THE SUPPOSED "curtain fire". WELCH WAS NOT CHARGED WITH SHOOTING A FIREARM. No witness reported hearing gunfire. Welch supposedly fired his gun at the lock on a closet containing a computer hard drive. Welch had been involved about 2 weeks previously in hitting a child (walking on the side of the road) with his car. After his arrest at Comet, Welch did not take the 5th and did not have a lawyer present when he told them his "pizzagate" story. In his earlier car hit of a child, he was driving an older car owned by his father. 2 weeks later he is driving a newer Prius from North Carolina to Comet. WHY DID HE CHANGE CARS??????? Welch supposedly has a child. What happened to him/her? So many anomalies with that story.

They had finished eating and had moved to the middle of the restaurant to play ping pong. Some time before 2:57pm, Welsh allegedly walked by, headed to the room at the back of the restaurant, behind the ping pong tables. Silmi allegedly saw Welch from the PERIPHERY of his eye and noticed he was carrying a concealed weapon. Concluded he was a security guard. Shortly after, he was told by an employee someone had a gun and they should immediately leave. They did. No gun shot was heard.
