The actor playing Diego (Micke Moreno) in the new Dora the Explorer movie quit and production had to reshoot all his scenes with his replacement (Mark Whalberg's nephew). But this is significant because ... those reshoots took 12 weeks, and the film had already been shooting for 12 weeks. So basically the whole film was reshot.

My friend was working on the set for the first 12 weeks but didn't go back for the reshoots. My friend didn't know why Micke Moreno quit, just told me it happened very suddenly, quit overnight, and dismissed it with: "He is some kind of pop star from South America" and "I think he didn't think it would take that long to film."

This doesn't match up to what the Gold Coast Bulletin reported about the reason Micke left, which is some kind of spin doctor story about an on set romance and some kind of incident.

It begs a lot of questions and it seems that no one is asking: What incident? Why did he quit? What happened between him and the lead actress? Why did the studio let him off the hook so easily - what about his contract? How much did it cost to reshoot? See above RE: my friend was asked to work another 12 weeks after already doing 12. So that's millions upon millions.

I just don't think Micke Moreno would have had a contract that could allow him to quit overnight.

It makes sense if the studio is trying to hide some kind of abuse though ... but whose abuse? Was Micke the abuser or did Micke get abused? Or did Micke witness abuse?!

FYI: Micke Morena turned 20 during production in September. Lead actress Isabela Moner is 17.

Micke's last Instagram post is a shirtless photo of himself, that someone else has taken, standing on the balcony of a Gold Coast (Australia) apartment on July 27 2018.

On the same day there's another photo of him on a plane looking forward to the Dora shoot beginning. Quote: "Taking new steps 🇳🇿 Australia here we go...🛫 Send me good vibes!! Much love❤️"

Just something about this doesn't pass the smell test guys. Nickelodeon is a cess pool of pedophiles. I'm inclined to think there was abuse of some kind on that set ...
