A while ago i made a post regarding the ending of Eyes Wide Shut and how it has been changed dramatically in sync with Kubricks death.

I have made the following new findings.

"According to screenwriter Frederic Raphael, the final edit of the film was in fact completed by Sydney Pollack after Kubrick's death. This is mentioned in a video interview conducted with Raphael by Web of Stories" This taken from IMDB.

The following short study explains how the whole movie uses upside down symmetry (as above, so below) between the world of illusion and the occult reality. I find it particularly well made. It also relates the ending with the disappearance of the main character daughter with the situation of Stanley's own daughter who cut ties with the Kubricks family to join SCIENTOLOGY at the same time as movie was being filmed. Stanley wrote a 40 page letter to try to convince her to return.
