Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, serving a federal prison term for sending sexual material to a child, will reportedly be released from federal prison early.

The New York Democrat will have several months lopped off his 21-moth sentence because of “good conduct time earned,” The Hill reported, citing “a spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons.”

Mr. Weiner’s release date has been moved up from August 2019 to May 14, The Hill reported.

Mr. Weiner had been a rising star in the Democratic Party and was married to Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s closest adviser.

However a series of sexting scandals forced him first to resign from Congress and then torpedoed his campaign for New York mayor.

His marriage to Ms. Abedin played an indirect role in defeating Mrs. Clinton, as federal investigators learned from investigating his computer in a child-porn investigation that it contained Clinton emails. That revelation prompted FBI Director James Comey to reopen his investigation of Mrs. Clinton in October, a move she and others have blamed for President Trump’s upset victory.

Weiner pleaded guilty to transferring obscene material to a minor, a 15-year-old girl, as a result of that investigation in May 2017.

disgusting pictures to a 15 yr old girl. I shudder to think whether he will be able to keep his pants zipped. No joke intended.

Do we really want a wall? The Soviet Union put one up to keep CITIZENS from escaping! The only wall that will keep drug and child traffickers out is AN UNDERGROUND WALL.

Existing laws, if actually enforced, would stop illegal immigration... without a wall.

Federal law says it's up to 5 years in prison and a large fine for knowingly employing illegals. If they would simply start enforcing the laws and using RICO statutes to confiscate their businesses, this illegal problem would disappear overnight. They're not gonna pay a smuggler money, to get them into the US if they know they can't get a job here. Yeah, and Israel just accused Iran of upgrading weapons in Iraqi factories with pro Shiite factions. Anyone who knows anything about Iraq, knows those borders are shut. Lucky to get a real desert fox through there, and he would have to burrow. Syria is a failed operation, and they are looking at Lebanon to attack next. All while crude bombs are coming out of Debby Wassername's office. You know she is a dual citizen right? If the israelis are saying they are building a wall underground then that means they are building tunnels deep into Gaza for total warfare, and it will take a year. no... i'm in favor of building large "funneling" landscape additions rather than a wall... to be coupled with autonomous drones, vidya towers and voluntary minuteman/bountyhunter bases placed at the northern edges of the funneling zones.

i have zero experience with tunneling or smuggling, but it seems to me that tunnels would have to be utilized in areas that have buildings and basements and such for camouflage purposes. My funneling idea wouldn't work in the cities anyway...

the vast majority of the border isn't built up enough to accommodate the use of tunnels... that's just my 2 cents... maybe there's long tunnels out in the desert somewhere...

MEXICO is a big part of the problem. Let's invade and do a "regime change", just like we did in LIBYA. The U.S. can redistribute their GREAT WEALTH (held by a few globalist/drug lords) to the peasant farmers. NO NEED TO CROSS THE BORDER. PROBLEM SOLVED!
