This may be old news to some of you but I felt compelled to remind everyone about this reality.

So let me get this straight... White hat hacker finds CP on the Comet Ping Pong server and reports it to Local Law Enforcement. A few days later a lone gun man drives to Comet Ping Pong armed with a Rifle and shoots the place up. The single bullet that was fired goes through a dead bolt lock and hits the Comet Ping Pong computer hard drive?! You’ve got to be shitting me!

Depending on the harddrive, you still might be able to restore this data. Of course I doubt law enforcement will take the time to do so, but it's worth mentioning.

It also depends on how the bullet went through the drive, assuming this actually happened.
