Shocking government data shows that of the missing children reported to be sex trafficked in 2017, 88% of them had come from the American foster care system.

The foster care system is corrupt, and, I will have to scratch my head on this data for a while because I don't understand why NCMEC would tell us the truth. If this is accurate I don't understand why NCMEC would admit it because as much data as NCMEC pulls in they don't do much with it. My first thought is "are they covering up a bigger source of child trafficking that they are involved in and control?"

Exactly. I called out Matt for something a long while back, and maybe, I was dead wrong ... I know who I am. At the end of the day you have to live with yourself in such matters. If I was wrong in my words, I apologize profoundly. I have done the same thing in person to a (1990?) returned vet from Central America. He did not say anything. I also did not know what an NDA was, and he probably knew that. Maybe I am lucky he did not kick me in the head?

BINGO. Give me a break. They are surely responsible for many children being taken from parents and sent into the arms of abusive foster parents as we have researched many times. But, I also believe there are other ways they are finding and getting them. Perhaps having people just pull them off the streets, as in abductions. There are homeless children living on the streets that is another way. They get them anyway they can. That's just too large a number for one Agency. They may be flying them in or bringing them in on boats and shipping barges. Google has Shipping Barges. One was reportedly going to dock at a shuttered Army Base.

I agree. I do regular legal work here in Michigan for the CPS/DHHS/Court System and the numbers are far too large for an organization that requires such an extensive paper trail and regularly mandated review hearings on the record. It certainly, absolutely happens, but it doesn't account for the large numbers that we are seeing. I'm more weary of the pizza delivery catering trucks in Detroit than I am DHHS right now.
