"The crushed rock is combined with other ingredients such as iron ore or fly ash and ground, mixed, and fed to a cement kiln.
The cement kiln heats all the ingredients to about 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit in huge cylindrical steel rotary kilns lined with special firebrick. Kilns are frequently as much as 12 feet in diameter—large enough to accommodate an automobile and longer in many instances than the height of a 40-story building."
Likely a caustic (high pH ie strong base) as opposed to corrosive (low pH ie an acid).
First aid trivia: Caustics are actually much deadlier to organic tissue than corrosives due to their better ability to destroy proteins and other organic structural components.
Point being that you may have pointed out another potential method for Cemex to dispose of the body. One that may be more efficient under the "Occam's Razor Test".
Essentially: Exsanguinate the corpse to mix their blood into the concrete -> dump corpse into a vat of those chemicals you mentioned.
Sometimes I think the "detective's train of thought" is a curse. All sorts of horrible imagry entering my mind as I try to piece together the crime scene.
I know. I have many times hated typing the horrid things I have to in order to come to a conclusion. It's hard enough reading it when you find your answers, but typing it is extremely rough. I found your text so hard to absorb, but know how important it is. Thank you for your hard work, as always.
Summary: You've got a company who owns numerous sites across the globe. They have transport and storage facilities. They have the facility to burn stuff.
Exactly guys. And there are tons of these plants. Major cities all across North America. Internationally. All near railroads. Waterways. Airports. Bus lines.

Cement production requires kilns similar to those used by funeral homes to cremate people but a lot bigger: http://www.cement.org/cement-concrete-applications/how-cement-is-made

Oh shit.
That right there regarding the size of those devices. The "body diposal" theory may have more merit than thought.
Truly sickening.
