Relevance: The relevance is what we've been talking about for a year and a half. It concerns the unmasking, the FBI planting spies in the Trump campaign to plant false information, then forced that leaked information back to the CIA where it was then used for FISA applications! Those are facts, this is a hypothetical. What if they were successful in recruiting him as a spy? What if sometime before he joined the Trump campaign Carter Page was acting as a Russian agent? What if gets on the Trump campaign? Trump and his team would not know that. What if Russia was successful in getting an agent on the the presidential team of a major US candidate? What should the FBI do in a case like that?

He seemingly emerged out of nowhere. Flynn, Paul Manafort, Carter Page and Mr. Papadopoulos, current and former officials said. Each was scrutinized because of his obvious or suspected Russian ties.

Flynn plead guilty, is cooperating Papadopoulous plead guilty, is coperating. Manafort faces a host of a charges, his business party and deputy has plead guilty and is cooperating. Page warned in 2014 by the FBI that the Russians he was dealing with were Intel agents trying to recruit him. Later Page was the subject of a FISA warrant that was renewed several times. That meant it was producing new evidence.
