The reality of child molestation by the Roman Catholic Church has surfaced time and time again, and yet, somehow, it continues to happen. If you watched the movie Spotlight, perhaps you have an idea of just how things are going down. But let’s break it down to date. While you can’t put a price on the innocence of a child, you can put a price on just how much the Roman Catholic Church has paid out in lawsuits over the never-ending epidemic of child molestation wreaking havoc in its ranks. According to Jack and Diane Ruhl of the National Catholic Reporter, who decided to research this particular topic, since 1950, the Vatican has spent a disgusting $3,994,797,060.10. That’s nearly $4 billion to keep things hush hush. That number may even be a bit conservative, as we cannot know for sure the agreed upon “under the table” amount.

For an organization that preaches selflessness and freely giving to the poor (would bible quote here, but there are too many), these cats sure have a fuckton of cash laying around. If they can cough up 4 billion because of kiddie touchers, they should have been saving the starving, overpopulated African kids. (You know, the kids whose missionaries parents they have been teaching abstinence only / no birth control for decades?)

The Church has been infiltrated for a couple centuries (most recently) and the hierarchy increasingly corrupt ever since. This is stated in several sources and the infiltrators were agents of int'l banksters and oligarchs. Per Dr E. Micheal Jones (awesome) believes problems were exacerbated with the sexual revolution of the 60's when everyone's (including priests) sexuality was encouraged. A lot of otherwise good hetero priests left to have sex/start families.

I saw a piece of Spotlight but have not watched all of it. It is sitting on my table right now from a friend. I will have to watch it myself, since my husband has had enough of this. He thinks nothing will stop this. The church is loaded with pedos and nothing will stop as long as we have THIS pope. I agree. As long as Church Sheep keep dropping money onto that collection plate this will continue. The only thing stopping me from watching it is that it is Pedowood Production. I never believe all of what they put out. How can we ever know what they put in a movie is the truth, especially when they are committing the same crimes. Everything the pope does is under the table.

Hang in there. Things will change for sure. We are still in step one: “expose the problem” but soon we will see a different vibe.

Years ago, I discovered how evil runs things. I turned my back and pretended. Since then, I got married and started a family, thinking that nothing was ever gonna change. Imagine my surprise, when pg got exposed. Now we are all on the same page.

And every day, more and more are catching up to us. Give your partner time and space. This knowledge is a burden. It’s not easy to know it, to carry it. That’s why it’s been covered up so well for so long.

Also they did not I am sure touch on SRA which many in the church are guilty of. They never bring it up because the Vatican would put a stop before filming. Also people are too turned off by it so they choose to either ignore it or believe it does not exist. If we really looked into it deeply, I think we would be shocked at the statistics as to how many SRA acts have been committed. It would be difficult to measure, since Victims have been made a mockery of and shamed by the perverted criminals and the churches. I say churches because I believe it is not only the RCC involved but all religions.

SRA in the Catholic Church? I haven’t ever read anything credible (so far) about that. My gut tells me it’s likely, tho. That would really blow people’s hair back if it came out.

She names her rapist and describes some of the abuse. She is my inspiration now. She has info avail. on the internet and has courage that I could never find. She is from a family cult.

I agree. Her report is heart breaking. For her to stand up and speak the truth after all of that requires support from the big boss ☝️, IMO. she’s still here for a reason. I think that God has the biggest audience in history, and that he is using people like this, preserving them and there stories....to rip away the veil and reveal the truth before we blow ourselves up completely. Just speculatin’.

She agrees with you. This is what she has said to me as well, that she believes that she is here to tell her story and to hopefully bring to justice her rapist, who not only abused her, but many others as well. I knew of SRA before, but hearing the horrid details from someone so honest and sincere, just blew me away. She is one in a million.
