Here's my perspective: Up until just very recently, our policy was to remove any and all disinfo posts immediately. That is what the rules were created to do. Disinfo just doesn't hold up when subjected to them. The problem with that was that MF did that daily, and people couldn't see the disinfo narratives being pushed and who was doing it. All they concluded was that he was a terrible censor and morale went to shit. I have always felt it was a better approach to scrutinize disinfo -- put it to the test and expose it's lack of foundation. Only then does it lose it's power. Moving discussion of it off the board where no one will see it prevents that.

It's a big help to have these names called out, they cause intense confusion. ES started out softer than DK but gets to the same point always, derailing. Derailing the conversation gets you into the easy money.
My suggestion is to also add a commenting time limitation. And a total limit of comments per week.
Commenting 22 hrs a day/7 days a week, should be banned. After 16 hrs of comments, the site says "BEDTIME" and goes blank for 8 hrs. Shills would need a shill change. DK was 24/7 haven't checked ES.

Here's my perspective: Up until just very recently, our policy was to remove any and all disinfo posts immediately. That is what the rules were created to do. Disinfo just doesn't hold up when subjected to them. The problem with that was that MF did that daily, and people couldn't see the disinfo narratives being pushed and who was doing it. All they concluded was that he was a terrible censor and morale went to shit. I have always felt it was a better approach to scrutinize disinfo -- put it to the test and expose it's lack of foundation. Only then does it lose it's power. Moving discussion of it off the board where no one will see it prevents that.
I don't think you need a screenshot of a paycheck to discuss whether someone is likely an enemy of Pizzagate. We can judge them by their fruits. I think making a case demonstrating patterns of behavior and the results it has, supported of course by linked evidence, is sufficient. How is that any different than anything we post about Alefantis' sick Instagram, or Tony Podesta's disgusting art collection? Rule 1 says:

Were I to write such a post, it would focus on what disinfo is being pushed, how it is being pushed, and the larger patterns. Voat is about free speech. That said, if the community does not want research into the way we're being fucked with to be posted on the main board in order to avoid excessive drama that hurts morale, I can understand that and will accept what the folks desire.

We finally agreed to disagree.
