Does anyone know if admins are able to alter upvoats?

Vindicator ago

"Voat is compromised" -- Shareblue talking point, confirmed. Thanks for building up this community.

There is only one admin, 4; PuttItOut. He is god of this little realm and can probably do whatever the hell he wants. He doesn't have time to diddle with voats, however. He has been working round the clock these past three months to protect one of the only free speech platforms left on the internet, from being shut down via DDoS and financial suppression by the "powerful people" we have "really pissed off." I stickied his post on the matter. Try reading.

I recall when the financial issue came up. Many goats asked/tried to find out who owns voat. Don't think that question was ever resolved. If it was can you share it here (not in blue of course).

PuttItOut owns Voat. It used to be Putt and Atko, but Atko got burned out. Putt was looking for an angel investor until he realized there wasn't anyone that could be trusted to preserve it as a free speech platform against those who don't want us documenting their dirty secrets. At that point, he decided to rewrite the code so it could be hosted and maintained cheaply enough to survive on user donations -- which he's been working on for months.

Came up a few months ago, who is Putt/no answer. Putt could be anyone but ppl should just trust.

Please show me a link. There is no coverup of Putt's real life identity. That is disinfo.

Expanding understanding/many sides to consider.

I liked what the Reddit guy said:

"Please donate to them. Otherwise they will come back."

LOL
