Maxwell was extremely connected and wealthy with many investors, including the Rothschilds. He owned over 400 companies, including the Daily Mirror. He lived large and dangerously, later becoming a bagman for the mob. Given his international connections, Mossad recruited him to open doors.

Through Maxwell, Mossad sold compromised PROMIS software around the world, including the U.S. Maxwell recruited Sen. John Tower to get into the Reagan administration, resulting in trap-doored PROMIS software being installed at Los Alamos National Laboratory (nuclear and conventional weapon R&D). Senator Tower knowingly committed treason, later dying in a plane crash. Trap-doored PROMIS software was sold globally. Some countries figured out the software was flawed on 9/11.

Maxwell eventually ended up $2.2B in debt. He tried to extort Mossad and they took him out.
