It helps to know that normies (and humans in general) are 90% irrational and 10% rational overall. No amount of facts will ever convince a normie (or anybody) as long as they are significantly emotionally invested in a certain viewpoint and paradigm.
Normies are thus not MORE irrational that anyone else. It's just that their emotional investment is stuck in a different paradigm (we might call it the "old" dying mainstream fake-news-matrix paradigm).
Those who have experienced being redpilled, and having their old paradigm collapse and the new one emerge, understand that "hey, it's possible to see a completely different reality than what I was used to see just by removing old belief systems". Normies never had that experience, yet...
Knowing the above by experience makes you a lot more humble and less emotionally invested in any viewpoints (even if it is "the truth"), which again makes your view much more accurate and flexible (which is what good investigators need, right).
So, back to the poor normies who just don't seem to get it. What is going on now is that Trump and the whole movement is softening the normies hardcoded investment in their old paradigm. Getting as many fence-sitters as possible to take the redpill. The die hard normies will just have to brace for impact as the truth will shock them to the core when the shit hits the fan. Some of them might literally go totally cuckoos nest insane.
I think we need more discussion on how to handle all the shell-shocked normies once SHTF. Cause I believe that is a big part of what Q is preparing everyone for. I planned to make this a OP, but need more upvotes before I can post. Please help :)
So true. I have had to let go of my world view several times: first, when I learned the full truth of the Catholic church's cover-up of sexually abusive clergy. Second, when I could no longer hold my view of the Bible as the literal truth. And third, during the 2016 presidential campaign. I was a Sanders supporter, and we all know how that went down. So, yes, it is extremely painful to let go of cherished beliefs. People can lose jobs, friends, even family. There must be a built-in response that makes us cling to old beliefs. I think we need to be aware of this and respond to people with patience.
I hear you. For me it was 9/11 that literally demolished my old paradigm and hurled me down the rabbit hole. I never looked back. Been waiting many years for what is now finally happening. Been hard living "undercover" for so many years, but finally showtime is here.
Every day new stuff is coming out. Never seen so much buzz and electricity in the air. It's exciting to say the least. Trump is doing an amazing job. How he can keep so calm and witty with that kind of pressure on him is just incredible.

Why redpilling "normies" is so hard
