First problem you have with your estimate is that FEMALES are 82% of the victims and males 12% according to studies/statistics. That would mean that the 4.5% only represents 12% of the victims of pedophiles. The number of Australian victims if you add in females would be vast.

Second -- usually estimates of homosexuals are underestimated -- 20% is more likely. In fact, I've read that any heterosexual couple has a 30% chance of having a homosexual child. Obviously, Nature sees a need for diversity -- and perhaps also for some control on procreation. Also to provide someone to care for the many children who are orphaned. In fact, in Hawaii before the coming of the white man, homosexuals were held in high esteem and honor for their care of orphaned children there.

Straight guys dont want sex with other males old, young or infant- that is the very definition of straight.

Actually, if you recall the song ... "My Buddy, My Buddy .. your Buddy misses you...." you'll find that it's a song about heterosexual males in wartime.

In our US prisons we have 200,000 male on male rapes every year ... certainly NOT by homosexuals who are most frequently the victims. And what studies show is that immediately upon release from prison these men will rape a woman ... "in order to prove their manhood."
So likely, many of the victims are also heterosexual.

It's pretty clear that you don't like the studies and statistics .... but clearly MALES are our sexual abusers of children. Freud knew this long ago but liked to the public -- and presently Freud, himself, is under suspicion of being a pedophile. At that time, it was well understood by FREUD (from his victims/both male and female) that those who had sexually abused them in their childhood were fathers, grandfathers, uncles, male cousins and male friends of the family. Most of them likely to be heterosexual.

The "promiscuous gay life style" seems largely fiction to demean and degrade homosexuals. However, certainly they had to seek out lovers in secret -- fearful of any encounter with another male. Let's remember, it was highly dangerous for these men (and women) who were regularly beaten and often murdered because of their sexual orientation. All in the name of "Christianity," actually.

Haven't really been able to see or read anything more of David Shurter who seems to be some kind of a journalist. But I'll keep him in mind for further review. So is Shurter himself saying he also had 1000's of sexual partners ... or that he was just in those places reporting on what was happening? Did he watch these activities out in the open?

Studies seem conclusive on this issue -- but obviously it isn't a subject that the powers that be want explored in any very specific ways.
Nor do they want to discuss bi-sexuality.

Just think of it -- most people in the population (parents) haven't even been told that it is MALES who are our sexual abusers of children.

A review of 352 medical records of children evaluated for sexual abuse during a 12-month period at a Denver children's hospital found that less than 1% had been abused by a gay man or a lesbian. Of 269 adult perpetrators of child abuse identified among the 352 cases of abuse, only two were gay or lesbian. The vast majority of the children in the study (82%) "were suspected of being abused by a man or a woman who was, or had been, in a heterosexual relationship with a relative of the child." And the review concluded that in this sample, " a child's risk of being molested by his or her relative's heterosexual partner is over 100X greater [than the risk of being molested] by someone who might be identifiable as being homosexual, lesbian, or bisexual."
